INTRODUCTION

Iron Bisglycinate is a chelated form of iron developed in the late 20th century to improve iron absorption and tolerability in anemia management. By binding ferrous iron to two glycine molecules, it protects iron from dietary inhibitors and reduces gastrointestinal side effects common with traditional iron salts. Iron Bisglycinate does not occur naturally as a compound; however, its components—iron and glycine—are derived from natural dietary sources such as meat, legumes, grains, and leafy vegetables. Evidence-based studies show iron Bisglycinate is effective in treating iron deficiency anemia, particularly in pregnant women, children, and patients intolerant to conventional iron therapy. Vitamin C boosts iron absorption. Vitamin B12 supports healthy blood, nerves, and cells. L-methyl folate aids red blood cell formation and prevents spinal cord birth defects in newborns
